Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Checking on my Fellow Ford Pro Friends

Who thought it was a good idea to give different AICP amounts? And then for them to be so drastically different is insane!

On our Ford Pro AICP call today, we were told they didn't plus up our bonuses because Ford Blue didn't even deserve the bonuses they got. Basically that they got lucky. He asked if we would rather be lucky or good? Haha! I'd rather have more money!

Pardon my French to all you young douchebags out there who think the latest 'hotness' is going to change the world and the company you work for.

Some of us old out of touch F-Os who have been around for 20 plus years remember what happened when all of the big three cashed their chips in on the big truck Market in the early 2000s.

Gas prices went through the roof and Toyota and other companies who are smart enough to realize you should keep the sedan Market going gained massive market share.

See how much those other guys are jumping head first into the EV craze.

'Model e is the most important division right now and going forward'

Said everyone in the autonomous vehicle division 3 years ago.

So Ford Pro got the same AICP with a multiplier of 0.91, times whatever one's individual multiplier is?

The sunset of Ford Blue will last quite some time. I’m wondering if Ford Pro not only had different ACIP metrics but also did they have different payouts?

Model e is the most important division right now and going forward. Ford Pro has some great subscription services however and does have a suitable but smaller place in the Ford+ Plan.

Ford Blue however is building only legacy type ICE vehicles and is not a significant part of leadership's future plans. I have overheard leadership say "sunset" products as an accurate description of Ford Blue.

@tzd+1l0zvbZu Also, I wasn't saying I thought Ford Blue didn't deserve their AICP number. I was just relaying what Ford Pro execs said to highlight how ridiculous they sounded in our meeting. Hopefully your role doesn't require much reading comprehension.

@tzd+1l0zvbZu What are you talking about? Do you even know what Ford Pro is? 99% of Ford Pro business is ICE and mostly F-Series and Transit. The most profitable vehicle lines.

Remember, HR has also noted that people will not be automatically getting 100% of the 91%. In compensation planning they were actively pushing that unless you had aggressive objectives AND delivered far and above, people should be given less in alignment to the importance of their objectives.

@OP+1l0zvbZu if it were not for BLUE you would be out of business. F-Series ICE makes all the profits. That's the bottom line. Lets see your numbers? Yeah I see a blank there..
Keep drinking the KOOL AID..
