I would be all for massive white collar cuts IF they cut the right people. BUT they NEVER do because of the cancerous LL* ranks and their massive number of protected GSR friends and family.

We now must work in the office one day a week - hump day. Our team has 80% non-contributors. They come in @ 9/10 am; socialize; then go to a 2 hour lunch at 11 am; then socialize until quitting time at 2:30. The LL6s are part of the non-contributors as is the LL5. Meanwhile the LL6s and LL5 are justifying bringing in high paid purchased services to do work that no one on the team can do (because they cut all the good people and kept the non-contributors).

Any company with competent leadership would have cut the non-contributors and kept the best people (even if they were the highest paid on the team). Basic math 80100,000 = 8,000,000 salary for non-contributors vs 20150,000 = 3,000,000 for contributors. Which saves more? But instead we continually cut the contributors, then hire more non-contributors.

And to rub salt in the wound our leadership claims all these non-contributors are vital because they are in IT.

Uaw was bribed last decade to be servant to oem… remember alll the headlines about Uaw leadership going to jail accepting bribes. Ask yourself who offered the the bribe? Think about it use common sense

Is anyone surprised more layoffs are coming. The real news is which LL4/3/2s will be terminated. Ford Next under F Louis-Victor has spent BILLIONS with nothing to show. Canopy under C M0r@n is a huge fail - it was laughed and ridiculed at CES, the press fearing low of Ford's ads chose to ignore Canopy rather than exposing how stupid and behind they are. FLVs directors have all failed, the id--t from HP, M0S3R has nothing but talk, from the looks of his org chart he's already on the chop list. Model E can't get any of their programs on track, Doug looks visibly concerned as does Cannis and Lawler. Baumbick is going to take the fall for all the recalls, just like Heinrich did. For the small number of over 50 who are pension eligible, it's really sad and pathetic that Ford thanks to Boston Consulting see u as a liability. Word has spread and Ford will pay the price. Remember the ridiculous email DF sent, asking to recruit the best and brightest, well they want nothing to do with Ford. The universities are also skiddish on Ford recruiting based on their recent actions. Leadership must be held accountable, it is their actions that have created this mess.

Funny how they keep beating down the white collar worker. Fat bonus to the lazy UAW and I bust my tail and because of being over 50 … fearing for my job … thanks Ford.

JF is pi---d the layoffs were so late in 2022. He won't let them make that mistake again. The next layoff will be very soon. Maybe as soon as Monday. It is about to get very ugly around here.
