Unlimited flexibility for AVP and above, even those without kids need to stay home for unknown reasons, or stroll into the office at random hours. The schlubs will simply pick up the slack and be at our workstations by 9 am, sharp!

Exactly. Every other day some kid stuff going on . Unavailable to work and pushing work on others. Have seen people chilling at home with excuse of kids sick for almost a year but others are expected to report to office. And we can’t dare to say we feel sick even for a day.
Not a parent but I agree. The number of people who are constantly unavailable because "something something, my kids" is astonishing.
