I mean, since getting as many applications seems to be the only goal these days why not branch out and ask all over the place? Who cares about actually selling stuff, right? Let's get those applications and who gives a damn about our actual jobs. Who cares about selling. /s This place is a fu--ing mess.

In my store ITS EVERYTHING. IM SO SICK OF IT. I understand about the fees but with the interest rate it's not that attractive to most customers. I ask but I don't push it.
Has anybody told you that credit is your job?
They want more credit cards opened up and being used because they get a discount on the swipe fees paid if someone uses another card. They want all the margin they can get and they should. I am sure it is a PITA for those under the pressure to open accounts but they want too make all the profit they can.
I agree with you, all they care about these days is credit credit credit. On days I get credits they are thrilled & on days that I don’t there like what’s going on? I mean I can’t force them to open a credit. I talk about the benefits & let them decide. If they don’t want the credit I enroll them in bronze. Credit has surely become the top things managers expect these days. What happen to selling?
