By the time it’s all over, Synopsys will have paid $35 billion for a couple second rate finite element codes used in EDA.
Ansys is dying more quickly by the day and Elliot is likely to finish the rest of it off permanently.
@1cy Did he give you any further details? For instance, which organization will be targeted, how many people are going to be laid off, etc?
I met Elliot at the watercooler, he told he's gonna do it mid of July.
Elliott may be waiting for Q3 results, Depends on how synopsys stock will move after Q3 results, if it doesnt go up, we should be on the chopping board
