I am confused and need some help understanding our bonus. I was under the impression that we were on target to hit 120% and that half of this was going to be paid before year end 2022. My bonus payment was 50%, are we going to get 50% on our second payment or will we get 70%? This should not be this uncertain or confusing, should be very transparent.

At least back in the day they cared enough to try to explain it.
Take some responsibility and read the emails that are sent. It is clearly communicated. But no one wants to read and then you complain you know what’s going on.
Sounds more transparent than the raises!
What Denbury does best is to keep you guessing. Because every year the payout is different, dates change last minute, and there is not much communication or explanation from your manager.
You got 50% of your "target bonus". If the actual bonus turns out to be 120%, you will get the remaining 70% of your "target bonus" later this year.
I've always thought our bonus payouts and LTI ( when we got them) were like a used car and buying extended warranty. No matter what math i used i never could figure out the numbers!
