I think all of them are crazy. Who would want to stay in this mess? Okay, I can understand some people who are worried about health insurance and stuff like that, but isn't that going to be just as much of a problem if they're laid off after VSP is wrapped up?

The job market is terrible and I’ve been here 10 years. My role is an essential function, so I’ll take my chances rather than volunteer to be unemployed and have problems finding a job elsewhere.

people are taking their chances, myself included. it’s not about wanting to stay in this mess, I’ve been wanting to leave my position for a year. if I’m retained, I know it’s going to get worse.
it is about finances, my $3K mortgage does not care how I feel about this job. both my husband and I need to be employed to pay the bills. I’m also not willing to give up the lifestyle I enjoy outside of work.
No one wants to be on the chopping block in this terrible job market that's what, so a heads up would be appreciated.
