I didn't receive the offer, but I'm still curious, what kind of medical coverage comes with it? Do you get a full year, 60 days, or something else? Considering current costs of health insurance, that's be the one thing that'd make me decide for or against taking the offer.

@ar may I ask how long you have been with the company? I was offered only 7 months.
In our state , we pay a fortune for health insurance here. I have never paid so much in my life for a family plan. It has been robbery. The cost of health insurance while working at Centene is something I will Never understood. I’m paying over $500 per paycheck for mediocre insurance here.
10 months COBRA
7 months COBRA where I pay the current rate coming out of my paychecks.
10 years in btw.
@aa I am confused. You think you should get more or equal to people that have been with the company much longer than you?
@a6 I have been here 2 years and I am amazed and don’t understand why they are offering so much more to the tenures? Huge difference!
@a6 Wow you. must have a lot of time in. For me it’s only 2 years plus the time prior as a contractor. I wanted to stay contract was more money and forced. Now here we are. Contractors still here why? We really don’t need them and have not since Hedis. I have not made yet.
@OP have you been there less than 2 years? My offer was 3 months cobra.
@OP for me 8 months coverage I would pay the premium I am currently paying instead of full cobra premium.
And I wonder what department you are in or are you less than two years?
COBRA is extension of you current coverage at full price ($1300 per month for family for us about 15 years ago). I was offered 5 months of employer covering above my current payments. Then the cost would spike A LOT.
