Thread regarding Optum layoffs

So WellMed is losing its contract with Humana starting July 1, patients will still be seen “fee for service” but patients will NOT be made aware of the copayment/bill that will follow after they see their PCP, per management the front desk staff is to tell the patients to call Humana regarding the bill. They are so wrong for this!!! They are literally lying to the elderly patients.
