I do not understand why this company would choose to send every department into a tailspin of nerves and anxiety for the next 2 months. Morale is completely gone and employees are paralyzed with fear. Who is actually working at this point? No one cares because we all know we may be next. Not to mention earning back the trust of employees after a stunt like this! Are YOU working or are you sitting in front of your computer shell shocked and unable to put one foot in front of the other? I feel that's like the spot most employees are in. Has anyone heard of any departments at this point that just might be ok? Are your people leaders saying anything?

@a1 I heard they are being sued by investors for fraud when Centene withdrew its 2025 guidance.
My manager just asked me about a project for my performance review, literally 30 minutes after a meeting about the VSP. Like I give a single f*ck about meeting those goals now. It clearly won't make a lick of difference when August rolls around and the firing squad gets started.
Since the email came out, I’ve been trying my best to focus on getting my work completed, but for some reason today, my arms felt like they were being held down by barbells. This is just wrong!
I have work to do and it's so hard to focus on it. This is absolutely insane.
I feel everyone feels the same. PL have been completely quiet even cancelling all one on ones. No meeting check on the team or state they have no information. Just hey get all of this stuff done right now. It’s deplorable.
@aa right... my leadership has gone quiet. I'm use to getting pings every hour asking for updates on regulatory submissions. pretty sure my direct PL is interviewing for a job this morning ...
@a9
Managers and Team Leads constantly on vacation. Where do they get all of the extra time. It always seems fishy to me why they are always off. Yet, when they are here they say they need another vacation.
It goes to show you they really are not needed.
I would say it is part of the plan. No corp would give 6+ weeks notice of major layoffs and expect business as usual. Leaders are hoping people will just give up and quit.
Morale is down and part of the master plan. IMO
Get rid of most management the majority are worthless anyway.
They could at least cancel the professional development checkpoint lol why would I even participate in that at this moment... what is there to develop?
The tailspin is part of the plan. Those barely hanging on will be the first to go as they are so close to the edge already. Would love to know how many already applied for VSP!
My team’s morale is in the cr-pper. We work for Corporate, and no one is saying anything. To not know for the next few months will be agony.
I Remember around july 1st 2025 last year, centene responded to a bad wakely data and withdrew its 2025 guidance and caused the stock to drop 40%. I wonder if the timing of the buyout this year is somehow related to the wakely data coming around july 2026 and that the C-suites found out how bad it is, and decided to respond to it beforehand.
