T-Mobile's Rank - WSJ - The 2026 Best Companies for the Future

The Wall Street Journal evaluates how leading US corps stack up in 6 areas: AI readiness, innovation, talent readiness, financial fitness, resilience and agility.

T-Mobile ranks #56 overall with an Overall Score of 61.6, making it the strongest telecom company in the table. It ranks 1st out of 3 telecom names, ahead of Verizon and AT&T. The strengths are Resilience Rank #25, AI Rank #71, Agility Rank #82, and Financial Fitness #122.

The one weak spot is Innovation Rank #283, which is surprisingly poor given T-Mobile’s operational momentum and brand positioning. Still, the broader profile is much better than AT&T and more balanced than Verizon. The data suggests T-Mobile is the telecom name most aligned with future-readiness: resilient, reasonably agile, financially solid, and credible on AI, even if not viewed as deeply innovative.

@dz DT relies heavily on TMUS to make its balance sheets look better; at least it did. If they bring their European idiocy over here to run the company, the goose is cooked.
