What are your arguments? I would most like it to be true that layoffs aren't around the corner, but you should not live in denial.

What is an FSE? Support or sales role?
I left Dell field services in July. I was hoping for a package but an opportunity came along. For the last two years it was clear to me that field services was on the chopping block. This has been Quirk's master plan for many years. Good luck to those still sh-----g calls.
That would be very optimistic only 40%. Reliable sources saying all Americas Field Srvs(CS) is getting outsourced in Feb.
I just wish they'd hurry up and do it. This month is rumored to be the month where they cut 40% of FSE's here in Texas.
I expect January to close out the year is when we will see much of this activity.

10% cuts incoming. Prob 15% in CSG and 5% in ISG

Unless you're part of the discussions, you have no clue either way. It's all a best guess.
