Serious problems are piling up, and many drivers are only discovering them after it’s too late. From engine failures to massive recalls affecting over a million vehicles, the risks are becoming harder to ignore. Some issues can shut a vehicle down unexpectedly, turning everyday driving into a gamble. Repair costs are climbing fast, leaving owners stuck with bills they didn’t plan for. As more defects surface, confidence in these vehicles continues to slip.

I don't see any actual data linked here. We all know these vehicles are $hit. But do you actually have things to back this up or are you just on a soap box. Because there's plenty of that here...just noise. Any substance to this...like a real report or something?
@dt How unfortunate. Millions of consumers left holding the bag/Ford vehicle. 🤬
And can even a mid-70s Maverick be any less reliable than what is being pumped out today?
Here's an idea. Rescue the rumored thousands of "lost Mavericks" from the mid-1970s from the deep caves beneath Kansas City. Refresh them, give them a 1 year warranty, and sell them to those who want or need an economy car.
Then there will be those who want to drop an 800 HP engine in that light chassis, and Vroom.
What's the point of keeping them down there and not make some profit? They can spin it with a media show of exploring the caves for them, build up some hype including owning a 'classic' car, and get some workers back to work.
This forum has insisted bankruptcy was coming since at least SRD. The SIRP. Again Now.
I dont think Ford will ever go bankrupt. At least not in our lifetimes...
Recalls created a lot of jobs for us car repair guys. Keep them coming. 👍
Good! Sc--w Ford. Keep the recalls coming.
These are all due to legacy programs which thankfully will be moved out of the company's mobility line-up with the upcoming UEV and other Model e products. It will be here sooner than you realize.
@OP And year after year the LL3+s with 30+ years continue to stay on payroll. What exactly do they prevent defects from recurring? ZERO!
All Chinese companies are extensions of the military. By law.
“War by any means.”
Unrestricted warfare.
No but if Chinese vehicles get a foothold in the US they will. Very hard to compete with the Chinese. Especially with the insane c-suite compensation Ford has compared to Chinese companies.
No your brain is bankrupt
