Does it even matter any more?

This isn't TransUnion specific but don't most companies want to continue to reduce their employee count in the US, increase AI adoption and have India and other places handle most work at a much lower cost?
Where is TransUnion on this trajectory? More advanced on India and many would say the day to day customer support is not what it used to be, but the company hasn't lost revenue so it's probably considered a success.
AI? Too early to say. I think most companies are still telling employees to embrace it, but the actual efficiencies are still lacking. I am guessing they will want to make AI more useful to replacing humans, but what is the timeline? Everything is always on an accelerated timeline.
TransUnion has had rounds of public layoffs already. More to come? I have no idea. The culture of the company though is struggling so rumors grow legs given the above concerns and the repeated cutting that has gone on. I think it would be naive to not assume more is in the plans, but not until they have achieved their public goals of completing their application migration.
How is that going? I don't know if it needs to be successful for headcount to be reduced if the perception amongst leaders is that it is done so my question for those would be, how is that going ?
@cj Funny a company that wants AI so bad, but still has sales team, call center and excessive management. you have people on american soil and there reports are over seas. Huh? TU is re--rded.
Look at the stock value thats the evidence
Yes. Do it. Get rid of sales. Get rid of call centers.
Absolute nonsense. Stop scaremongering without providing any information.
