They don't care. I've been in a face to face meeting with Regulatory and Legal a few years back. The gist of the outcome was "sometimes it's more economical to pay the fines then it is to hire the proper folks to watch over it."
Ouch! another blow to our company
ok. so that fine is from april 2024.
why is that news today?
OP couldn't be bothered to tell us.
To save you the google.
the Surpreme Court last week ruled the fine is legit.
OP also left out "In April 2024, the FCC fined AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint nearly $200 million combined for illegally sharing access to customers’ location information."
So not only is it all phone companies. not a T specific thing. But its sharing data illegally. NOT a hack.
So sorry @a2 its not cause we opened a charlotte location last year. And nothing to do with CSO at all.
Get CSO out of vacationland Charlotte
