I used to wait around for management to fix things, to make things better, to give me a reason to stay. Then I realized that wasn't going to happen and I started looking. And now I have my first offer. You've got to take charge of your own life, because no one up there is going to do it for you.

Congrats OP! Best of luck at your new job.
Congratulations. It's can't be worse than this s-show.
Very nice to hear and best wishes in your new job with the new company. Hopefully MC will start kicking themselves next. Nasty bottom feeders driving away good talent they should fear what’s coming to them. Karma skips no one. Looking at you MC.
Congratulations! I agree that really is the best solution. It’s a very hard realization to come to for me because I’ve been here for 15+ years and I had hoped to be able to stay here until retirement. I used to be so proud of working at US Bank and felt truly lucky.
But clearly, I’m thinking of a US Bank that no longer exists with the current MC. It’s not only that they don’t care about employees but they hold us in complete contempt. Every decision they make and every communication makes this evident.
Correct, OP. The managing committee of USB does not have a clue what they're doing and they truly don't give a sh-t about the employees. As long as they get their bonus and their stock shares perform well they see it as mission accomplished. Collateral damage (employees) is irrelevant to them. Zero compassion or empathy for how their behavior impacts others. They truly do not give a fu-k.
Good for you! I hope it’s a great offer and working for a company that appreciates its employees.
