The best direction from above this week is we need to work better as a TEAM!! From the same people who demand that everyone on that team be split into specific categories by specific percentages where some of them must be rated as needs improvement regardless of how that team performed. LMAO, that's the way to get people to work together. I used to feel like I was part of a team, now it is everyone for themselves, not the bigger goal, just survive another layoff.

No more team work...good sales people are let go, engineering also let go, .....not much talent except rehiring other ppl that don't understand NetApp product.
Honestly executives did wonders for our teamwork and one team spirit; we are all united in disliking them.. NetApp has gone from a Work Hard, Play Hard and if the company does well then employees do well to a company motto of My way or the high
@kr I did that my first week here. DevSecOps contacted me and asked if I were aware of that rule in my inbox! lol. Too much company spam and garbage clogging our inboxes.
After a few weeks, when they got let go, work with another team again and again? its stressful and frustrated.
“Maybe even help a customer”
This guy gets it! This company has completely forsaken its customers for the sake of greed for the top few.
ALL netapp corporate communications go straight through my outlook rules into the bin (not even staged somewhere for when boredom sets in), generally if an email is not directed to me personally, and to less than 5 others, it's not going to be helpful to anyone.
ALL meeting invites are immediately cancelled. All thrive paperwork is fed slop, nobody even reads that stuff as long as it vaguely looks relevant.
I guess what I'm getting at is "starve the beast", just stop listening and focus on whatever interesting problems you have to hand ;) Maybe even help a customer with one of their real problems.
I've never worked for a more incompetent bunch of self important rubes in my life before, I mean really.
It’s a transaction. Take whatever you can get for the work you do and expect nothing, especially loyalty from the company, in return. That way, you won’t be disappointed.
The 109% ICP bonus has really encouraged me to go the extra mile in FY27. Anyone else ready to work extra hours in FY27, go into the office 3x a week, and never use FTO because Thrive Together makes it harder to take any real time off? I know I am. How else will we get to 10B?
@OP That’s just an euphemism for „get more work done with fewer people“.
@OP well said, guessing they don't get that or don't care as those that imposed this nonsense and biggest morale ki-ler I have ever seen count their dollar bills as they cash in their options.
