Walmart has approx 2300-2400 H1B employees. That’s thousands of US workers that could have a job, but don’t, because Walmart would rather bring in cheap, foreign labor.

Yeah, we’ll have another 2400 the instant the govt is forced to end the $100k fee. Walmart will be primed and ready to pull the trigger on that.
Are you suggesting that all these H1B visa holders are employed in technology roles or in management and leadership positions?
If your concern is regarding the technology jobs occupied by H1B workers, then it is clear that we are experiencing a shortage of technological skills here in US.
