Qualcomm is lucky the job market is so bad

From what I have seen lately, many experienced workers are checking openings in the background but holding off on changing jobs until companies start hiring more steadily again. Once that happens, we'll see a major exodus of talent.

Q is not a good company to work for. The culture is toxic and too many guys are just doing status collections. Basically nothing, but pushing others. It is a very discouraging environment.

Despite being the worst place I've worked at, I would not mind moving back to Qcom because I've yet to work in a company with better projects. Nowadays, every coding task can be automated through AI, except for device level coding for new hardware.
