Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Solstice is so much better sorry

Reasons

  1. No tight guidelines on going into the office
  2. More freedom to do your job.
  3. Less corporate oversight - experts need to be experts and do their jobs
  4. Much less questioning from management
  5. More people say hello in the office and at the plants
  6. Hope for the future. Cannot blame the past any more.
  7. Way less complaining
  8. Functional departments improving or getting flipped. HSE now part of the operation. New operation excellence team is great. Transformation office taking on new projects for growth.
  9. New ideas are acceptable

@bb the building systems and DCS businesses are solid and will do just fine. There is definitely some dead weight in RemainCo and maybe they will finally trim that. They could certainly be further broken up into their independent “automation” companies with less top heavy bloat IMO. What corporate claims are “synergies” are mostly just force-fit processes that don’t add real value though.

Don't be sorry! Great news, lets hope Aero shakes off the shackles too! RemainCo is a dumpster fire!

It’s almost like the stakeholders of Solstice and Aero managed to cherry pick the most solvent and functional business units while leaving Vimal with the garbage that has kept him and his compatriots fooled off PPTs. I’d bet my salary that there’s going to be more peeling away pieces of RemainCo after June
