Thoughts on Instaclustr acquisition?

@yg can you elaborate? Why would NetApp want Instaclustr to go bust or buy the management out?
Netapp has a history of lousy acquisition strategies. They put them on a price list but never enabled them. Netapp made sure to get legal confirmation that Instaclustr were to be seen as independent business entity (key word: working counsel and related definitions), then they dropped the ba--s on Senior management that they either let the company go bust or alternatively, suggesting a management buyout. Quiet a lesson to watch on corporate enterprise business and a good warning to stay careful.
@e3 sounds like someone isn't selling the portfolio...
Instaclustr? Oh that happened the moment the Kv55yman was hired.
probably the best acq we had to date
I have covered 15 accounts since the acquisition, from small to quite large. Not once has Instaclustr come up in conversation. How's that for an answer?
They got acquired 4 years ago. And you’re asking for thoughts now?
Huh?
