@yg can you elaborate? Why would NetApp want Instaclustr to go bust or buy the management out?

Netapp has a history of lousy acquisition strategies. They put them on a price list but never enabled them. Netapp made sure to get legal confirmation that Instaclustr were to be seen as independent business entity (key word: working counsel and related definitions), then they dropped the ba--s on Senior management that they either let the company go bust or alternatively, suggesting a management buyout. Quiet a lesson to watch on corporate enterprise business and a good warning to stay careful.

I have covered 15 accounts since the acquisition, from small to quite large. Not once has Instaclustr come up in conversation. How's that for an answer?
