Hopefully all the illegal aliens will be shipped back so we can get on with stabilizing a western company.

Rumors. There are no layoffs.
Some people might have decided to leave due to the rotten corporate culture though.
@23h is Europe including France and Germany impacted ?
@1e3 looks like it started, came online and a bunch of people had an OOO (all locations for my lob)
@1e3 Verp Me Baby, Verp Me Baby!
@1dw There are rumors that SAP is cooking a reorg to be announced BEFORE summer vacation which means June or July the latest: it might include layoffs and early retirement plans.
I do not think there will be layoffs.
@cg You can shove that "na-i" accusation right up your medically dug mangina you pretentous bi--h.
@hz Folks want facts. The facts are these: CK said no layoffs in H2. Which leaves June 2026. And starting in 2027. He doesn't want to be shown to have misled the workforce. In addition, the headcount tracker shows that there have not been significant layoffs since Q4 2025 and there were headcount reductions every 3 or 4 quarters. So we are due for a RIF of some sort soon, My guess is a reorg announced in June or early July and then a P27 starting in Q1.
@OP rumors are indeed going around that we'll see p27, but who am i to confirm 🤷
@h1 I think SAP will take a short time to analyze the impact of SAPHIRE on the commands and estimate the growth then make the decision : Layoff now or wait and see
I don‘t think there will be layoffs.
To the OP: You're an id--t.
@eb what's frustrating is that we employees are held to a higher standard and can lose our jobs even if we do what is expected of us. On the other hand, the executive board has one job - to maximize shareholder value. They have one job and they fail at it and they're rewarded with millions in bonuses every year, usually more than the previous year. That doesn't sit right with me. I want them to be held accountable for failing at their job. Maybe we need an executive board that actually cares about shareholders, customers and longterm SAP growth and not just what Palantir wants to be successful.
@d0 Mr. Hips, can you please elaborate and explain your stand clearly
@eb We are sensing AI fatigue. Announcing something revolutionary without a proven reliable use case will do just that to any share price.
Well - what else will goose the stock price if Sapphire did nothing and all the AI and acquisition announcements did nothing? As one poster observed - SAP can continue to wipe out almost 50% of its gains from the last five years all on its own, and without about 40k employees. Like it or not, SAP is not a growth stock - and the licensing metric is going to fall apart with AI that can use one license to do the work of 100 Named Users. So layoffs are coming, it is only a matter of where (any country with no or little worker protections), how many (my bet is 30k - 40k) and when (likely soon). Do you think wallowing in the same share price for the last 6 months is going to be acceptable to the investors and SAP will just carry on business as usual?
Read my hips: there will be no layoffs.
@cj from his @$$
@OP where did you get this info from ?
Oh, it is the AfD na-i colleague again.
Go away.
And you know how?
We're taking those in the US.
We can sed you some Somalis...
We should allow Christian refugees from South Africa to come to Germany and work for SAP.
