How do they compute your severance pay anyways?
If you email your release you will get a confirmation.
If you’re in MN and you submit a written request for your final paycheck they have to legally pay you within 24 hours
I mailed mine in, and they didn't receive it. I ended up waiting until April (I was RIFed in January). I would definitely follow-up after 3 weeks. It was quick after that.
One pay period after the last paycheck if you send it in right away and they process it.
When I was RIF’d, I received my severance in about 3 weeks.
