Was asked to persue this. What are the real upsides? I read 15-20% base pay jump based on quartile (I’m in top already)? Seems slight for the order of magnitude of workload increase I may see. If offered has anyone negotiated up, and to what? (30% was my gut)? To what %? And beyond base pay what perks are LL5 to offset the (seemingly) minimal pay bump?

My wife has gone 6-5-4 I’d keep your expectations at 15%. Your bonus will go closer to high 20s. Stock is 15-20K with 3 year vesting but only 50% of the LL5’s get it in an org each year (goes up to 90% at LL4). It’s supposed to be based on who has the most “future potentional”. Basically don’t count on stock and be happy when you get it.
Honestly the huge jump was from 5->4. Talking in a good year $80 in bonus and $50K+ in stock. But down year obviously way less.
