Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Employee

Where can we find the employees that were transferred? Is there somewhere to look for who got laid off?

If you find one you may find them all.

During the first big lay off in 2002 I was curious too. One morning I came in and found a print of the names in our division. The ratio of employees to managers was striking — 23 to 1. This disproportionate arrangement occurred across Intel, and the mistake that it was likely led to the “One Thousand Manager” layoff soon after.

Intel has got quicker and more efficient in their layoff process, at least when they want to. I guess it’s all the practice they’ve got.

They are no longer part of the 'family'... you shall have no reason to get in touch with them, they have been cast out into the darkness. They shall vanish from all records, indeed from the face of the Earth. And thou shalt shaketh off the memory of those lost souls and move forward with they glorious 'moonshot' mission of beating TSMC.

If you are not affected, no, but...When folks get laid off they should give a list of the others that have been affected (names, ages and positions): 'this disclosure must contain the employee names, titles, and ages in “plain, easy-to-understand English” so as not to obfuscate any complaints or investigations stemming from the disclosure itself. Fwiw, before switching to Workday for HRM, you >could< go into the previous system and see current & former employees’ statuses. And it was pretty easy to see who was in redeployment, too. Workday is better at obfuscating that info.

A lot were assigned to proxy CPM managers.
Find the managers and you will see about 1000 affected people.

Ask around. It's not hard to check CPM. Don't come to this site expecting anything but trolls and angry people.
