Has Al increased the probability for layoffs at Oxy?

I use it every now and then for searches and material on subjects. I have not really figured out a way to automate my job with AI, but the higher ups want us to show ways AI can enhance our jobs. It really seems to be affecting companies like Meta, Google, and the likes. Those companies are laying off thousands and they are not shy about saying AI can take the employees place. I think things like IT Helpdesk will be a thing of the past because people can us Co-Pilot to figure out their computer issues sometimes faster than using Helpdesk type services. Same goes for application customer support lines. In fact most of them send you through questions before you can even talk to anyone. Many sites are using it now for such tasks. Poeple should also worry about the data centers using up resources of water and electricity. We are short on those two as is without adding data centers across the country.
