No mid year self evaluation but Managers will still evaluate their staffs in June. List of layoffs might come in Aug after the recalibration in July.

when they calibrate using chatgpt, do they throw out the stuff that doesnt support the IM?
The only thing that the MY does is this: if you get “less than meets” MY and were IM or NI at YE - you will be terminated, no severance.
Other than that, it’s just a continuous stream of BAU - every two weeks.
@b9 if you get “less than meets” mid year, you’ll be gone before thanksgiving - no severance. there is mandate to terminate anyone with less than meets two consecutive rating cycles (YE/MY or MY/YE)
Just take that time as your notice period and plan accordingly
To be honest, it really doesn't seem to matter how well you do on your mid-year review. I have known many (including myself) that has had a good review and was still displaced! No rhyme or reason. The funny part was that after being displaced, I still received a notification that my review was submitted in WorkDay for review!
My boss/org will do either do "every meets", or IM meet some folks b/c of the distribution. There's a bunch of "favorites" that have recently joined my org so I might end up there and would welcome getting laid off. come on golden ticket b*tches.
are they use chatgpt to calibrate?
If there is a worst run company, it would be hard to find. Complete clown show so nothing would surprise me from this bunch. It's like they literally just make up sh-t weekly to reduce employee morale.
I got IM at mid year out of nowhere with no prior bad ratings. Thought they would have dropped the axe by now….still here for now. Let’s see how long I can milk this thing.
Everyone will be rated either "Meets" or "Less than Meets"
Recalibration in July??
Who is really running HR? Seems like the wheels are about to break off the old wagon.
