Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Act like children

If they want to continue to treat us like children what’s stopping us from acting like children?

You know RTO5 is absolutely coming soon. They will start monitoring how long you’re working somehow.

Have a long commute? You better be working while driving. If not you better work as soon as you wake up and as soon as you get home to make up for the commute you didn’t ask for.

This site is proof they need to treat some people like children.

There is a service firm where I worked. They literally treat you like children. They don't care about your work; they care how many times, like children, you beg for money. They call saying, "Mother feeds child who cries." First, the company is not your mother, and we are not your children. There is a need for FedEx-like change in Schwab for service firms.

Fighting rto is a legitimate fight. We can only inform of layoff rumors and help those impacted. And rto relates to layoffs which is the subject.

How many years will RTO complaints last? I feel like that's all that's on this site 3 years and running...

Yes no one wants to go back to pre COVID 5.. yes commutes su-k.. but here we are . How about we find new things to complain about as I'm burnt out on this topic

Acting like children is unrelated to RTO. It’s unpaid time and expense. Incidental commutes may have been acceptable. Tech wasn't available. But now with two-hour commutes and 20% pretax income costs? It's a power move everyone should protest.
