EXIT DATE, PACKAGE AND INTERNAL JOBS LISTINGS

As CR stated, 75% of LR will be re-hired where needs are. True or baloney? Everyone getting four months salary with benefits, then COBRA? Exit date set to July 14?

Did team leaders announce send off and good luck meetings? Or a nice kick in rear, and message - have a nice day….

This is BS! If you really take them at face value then it means all skill sets they are looking for in Silicon, AI and Quantum et al are already available in the current employee community. And if that was really the case, they would not have to let anyone go.

The was this works is that if you interact the program and you later find a new role yourself, Cisco counts it as they helped you get it.

More than 80+ % of open roles are filled with internal CSCO employees. Assuming most of the 4000 are solid players, they will get scooped up.

It is baloney and has been said at every layoff. When I was laid off, he said we have 2000 open racks and he expected everyone to be able to transfer to another job but that never happened. Do not trust this guy, he is full of it.

Beware of the black-list if you’re older than 35yro. In my round of layoffs, I knew of just 10 who got another role during the 60d period. I myself applied to several roles but wasn’t considered. I applied for several roles months later only to realize my entire org/corporate function was off limits to me.

It's more like 40% end up back at Cisco, the other 35% place outisde of Cisco. Since "Cisco" recruiting helped you find a new role, they include that 35%.
