@b8 sorry but definitely not 70% of salary. It's capped at about 38k CZK.
Anyway, the question was about severance package, not unemployment benefits paid by government. Previous RIFs had severance calculated based on years of tenure, e.g. N months salary + additional month per year of employment, capped at some level. What's the calculation now?
@az 18 months 70% of the salary by the government until a new job is found based on social protection+ 3 to 6 months by Oralce.
Will layoff meetings be split between Monday and Tuesday like last time?

I've got the invite from the manager's manager on the meeting. My line manager will have a call with him 45 mins earlier. Invite was sent on yesterday (Sunday) at 11pm CSET. Will keep you posted.

It should be the same day, because the day it is relayed to the employee, that is the last day they have Slack access.
Immediate managers knew about this since Friday at latest, probably the ones where the RIFs are happening (not every team was targeted like in November).
I was I guess lucky enough to be spared in this round, but know some people already that were let go.
It'd be very interesting to know if the severance package was roughly the same as the last time or whether these were lowered as well, please share if you know details.
Can anyone from CZ share how the process works in practice with the current RIFs? For example, how far in advance is the HR meeting invite sent out? Does the direct manager already know before the meeting happens? Also curious how garden leave and severance are being handled locally. Thanks.
So this round this is driven by HR? Last round (October) it was management who was organizing rif com meetings.
