HMP Elevators

Hey guys,

I had to post because the new elevator system that just rolled out with HMP is awesome. It creates even more chances to run into people from other teams and keeps that great collaborative energy going all day long.

Im all in on the open plan unassigned seating. The way it gets everyone mixing together, sparking real conversations and solving stuff on the fly has been a total game changer. Its made coming into the office genuinely fun and way more productive.
We should really accelerate the full HMP rollout and finally transition those last remaining private offices. Getting everyone out into the open would expand collaboration even more and help us become a true one team organization.

Leadership has been so smart and transparent about these workplace changes. You can see the vision is working and its helping us pull ahead of the competition.
This whole HMP direction just keeps delivering. Im more pumped about it every week.

Anyone else feeling the same? Would love to hear from the field and ops teams
especially. When you come into the office are you noticing how much easier it is to connect with people now?

This is sad to think we are cheering on the the new elevators because there is so little other perks to appreciate at Chevron.

@bs Duh??!! Ya gotta account for the ginormous piles of 💩 we are shooting out the chute (let’s call it that to avoid vulgarity) 24x7. Why, MW alone accounts for 99.99% of the output, and since he wants us to focus on outcomes, I suppose someone better alert Sodexo about the cleanup needed on aisle 4.

I love the open floor plan. I just go four or five floors below my usual work area and get lots of work done since no one knows who the he🏒🏒 I am. No one bothers me and the bathroom is awesome.

XOM up 48% in the past twelve months.

CVX up 37% in the same period.

Sorry, how are you pulling ahead of the competition?

Dude, 100%!

And that collab spirit stretches even beyond the open plan, right into the restrooms. At 1400 we’ve been sharing the stalls, and, depending on colleague size, of course, we manage to fit one and a half cheeks each onto the seat. We save the company so much on reduced flushing (not to mention the introduction of the “brother can you spare a square” campaign).

To be sure, we have not yet perfected the aim of our joint bodily evacuation sessions, and Sodexo has complained a bit about the aftermath they deal with. BUT, and this is key, we are BEATING THE COMPETITION. Our daily joint 💩 output (and not just the figurative kind) has tripled!! I don’t claim to know how or why, though the introduction of the cafeteria “daily Delhi” special might be a contributing factors.

Anyhoo, I’m gonna leave the ANALysis to ES’s org, as they are our experts in calculating all kinds of impact (and now, impacted bowels, which is truly their specialty). BTW, they do have a threshold for 💩 impact to be considered. I am certain, though, that our company can come up with a BIG one. For sure it will deliver quite a splash!

OK, gotta run meet Rajneesh for our next collab. We are literally working cheek-to-cheek. I feel good. Morale (and fiber intake) are at an all-time high. Let’s do this!!!!!!
