Anthropic is just tricking agents into running pointless loops to increase token spend before IPO. They have no datacenters and are claiming to be compute constrained while just ripping off their customers. While the llms excel at code production the Chinese open models actually out code them at this point even if they are still distilling off the US models. They partner with the coding agents to give away free access just to train on the coding prompt traces now. Sales are so low in the US that Trump just allowed Nvidia to sell to China despite the national security risk.
