With the union contract expiring on Aug 1, why haven’t we been assigned EWA jobs yet? In the past they always assigned them many months before the potential strike.
We also haven’t seen any bargaining update emails recently. What is the status?

We won't be utilizing management for this anymore. It will all be contractors from here on. They'll be the ones taking over anyway when the union is gone.
There was never a plan to train management for a strike. Leadership stated there would not be training ahead of the contract negotiations. Makes sense as there are fewer people to deploy when the union employees decide they want a break from work.

@a7 I’m in office 3 days a week so I do talk to coworkers and my boss. Literally zero chatter about EWA or the strike. I have to get my info on this board.
