@cs I was where you are now 1 year ago and I am currently "transitioning" out because Accenture and AI are the greatest things ever according to these people. Bone up on your job search skills, you'll be glad you did.
You’re probably safe if you think there aren’t layoffs coming up. In my department, they’ve made it clear there will be layoffs this year, and my manager confirmed it (but doesn’t know if we’re affected… yet)
If there is a cheap worker somewhere on the planet with a network connection that can somewhat do your job, T Rowe will find them and shoehorn them into your role, whether they have talent or not. This management team aims to maximize their own enrichment whether they run this shthole into the ground or not. Just be alert and keep your resume updated.
@ax there’s no formula. Depends on the person
Maybe im wrong but a lot of old timers got treated well
If it happens how much severance can one expect? Any comments?
It depends on what you mean by a while. there are several initiatives in flight that will wrap up in the next few months that I predict will be followed by another round. hope I am wrong. i am fortunate to be in a position to wait it out and collect severance and be ok. i sincerely feel bad for the many who are in different positions. Again , sincerely hope I am very wrong.
Yes, very much so.
