Go here https://www.forbes.com/lists/employers-culture/ and tell me I'm not seeing things. Edward Jones in at No. 21?

Doesn't matter what these stupid pay for play propaganda surveys say at this point. Our reputation is cooked in st louis and now the d-mbsh!ts at ELT will try to narrow down all home office associates into tempe or stl. I deal with a lot of people outside of this place that have money and deep ties to stl (wont get into details) and you better believe that they are getting the scoop from not only me but others they come across in EDJ family. While PP and ELT drain the treasury and surround themselves with yes men, they are ultimately cutting their own throats and tainting their reputations. Imagine being known as the first female MP in STL to take over a 100yr old midwestern firm, and your legacy is known as the ding bat who destroyed it and was hated by 85% of the employees here.
I work for a competitor in STL, but many people I know at EJ always laughed at those rankings. And that goes back a few years. Apparently EJ always had those that don't work there fooled.
It’s funny watching people treat those Forbes lists like they’re some kind of objective truth. Anyone who’s been on the inside knows how it really works. Companies pay to be included in those “best places to work” rankings, and it’s the same story with the financial advisor lists. At Edward Jones, FAs literally apply and pay to be considered, and then Forbes picks from the pool of people who paid to be in the running. It’s not some magical selection process where they’re scouting the top talent out of nowhere.
So when you see those posts floating around, just remember they’re part marketing, part pay‑to‑play. Employees know the truth, even if the public doesn’t always see how the sausage gets made.
Haha! One of PP minions got triggered by this post and all the comments. Oh no! You down voted everyone who sees through your scam! That will teach us! Clowns.
This is just like JD power rankings, and lord knows who we "survey". It aint home office, that is for sure. We pay to play as part of our marketing expense. These surveys mean jack sh!t in the age of social media where people can actually tell what is going on behind the scenes. Not to mention, this place gets worse and worse every trimester (survey probably done last year). With ELT actively at war with the workers and PP spending like a drunken sailor, this place around Stl will quickly have a worse reputation than wells fargo without the pay. Our name is officially tainted and the small town culture of st louis makes word of mouth lethal. D-mb @$$ PP wouldn't know this because she surrounds herself with rich elites in her gated ladue community outside of her home office personal jungle garden (when she isnt doing media blitz on the east coast).
I worked for a multilevel marketing corporate cult right out of college. They were regularly on "best places to work lists" because they paid to be I wouldn't put to much stock in that list
We probably “pay to play” in this survey like we do in the others. It’s insulting to the people who work here. This is propaganda plain and simple.
