And instead of fixing things, they've created a workforce that doesn't care anymore. The failure is just getting worse.

It’s become a ship full of miserable rats all looking to leave before it sinks
16 years here in GNT. I make 140k plus OT, STI and a Company ride I use like I stole it . The call me a "Senior Network Engineer" aka Field Tech until they renamed us several years ago. I have an Associates Degree and have always had an issue being called an Engineer w/o at least a 4 yr degree. My AD doesn't even have a 2 yr. Oh well...I will ride this ship until it hits the bottom :-)
We are not failing. I just had an authentic and purpose driven time making care packages for our troops while on company time. I also talked in circles about AI which I know nothing about and am humbled to put JOMO in action by leaving at 2:30 to beat traffic. Another successful day creating value for our customers. Proud to be vz!
Yeah I am 100% quiet quitting. I’ll do my job good enough to not get fired and then get my engineering degree and gtfoh. Verizon is full of stupid people who don’t know how to run a company and turning everything into micromanaging BS.
