Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

EH no CEO

He’s completely in over his head and not CEO material. Zero vision, authority or leadership for this moment.

The Today Show interview this week was a disgrace to this company. Lacked anything meaningful. The tears are old. “Return to sport” and “serving athletes” is BS vision. What a wasted PR effort by the Comms team. Embarrassing in fact.

We need a new CEO yesterday and I’ll start a petition.

Sick of talking him about the past. A real CEO knows you can’t change the past and must focus on the future. Speaking of, good CEOs have a plan and a vision and execute. This guy shows NONE of that.

Who’s advising this man?!

He was always a sales guy. Sales guys don’t make good CEOs.

Today Show interview made it very clear that he’s never worked outside Nike with a position of substance. He’s dillusional with this hope vs substance drama

I’m a Nike investor of decades. I’ve sold all my shares and have zero confidence in his leadership. I’m so happy I sold when I did. The ship is sinking and the stock has high probability to hit $30 in near term.

This is like his second interview after a layoff. The crocodile tears were too much for me. The interview was simply him begging not to get let go and to garner sympathy from investors. He's pretty much freestyling this whole thing.
