Not even Tesla which is an inflated price electric car that many id--ts used to buy like hot potatoes did not drop that much when the stock crashed due to Musk's recent idiocies
Ignoring the double negative:
CSCO March 27, 2000 high: $82.00
CSCO October 8, 2002 low: $8.12
$8.12 is less than 10% of $82.00. I can't find exact numbers for those dates but the interactive graphs I found suggest there were somewhat more shares outstanding at the low than the high. Inflation adjust the $82 from March 2000 to April 2026 and you get $159.51. Cisco's market cap has dropped dramatically not adjusting for inflation from its peak on March 27, 2000 and the only reason the stock has a higher price per share is because the number of outstanding shares has been greatly reduced.
@dp ever heard of quiet period?
Executives are legally barred from buying/selling Cisco stock during the quiet period.
@b3 do you say Pelosi bought csco stock or not? i am confused ...
Me neither. Who cares. Most American owns shares ... shares over a wide spectrum of companies.
@dp how does buy back line up with that?
Rule 10b5-1
Executives typically pre-schedule their trades well in advance.
Just pray Cisco doesn't lose 90% of it's value like it did when it went from $82 to $8.

Cisco had definitely more fundamental value than an inflated value car company
Omg what a bunch of mo--ns
@b3 do you say Pelosi bought csco stock or not? i am confused ...
...did Pelosi...
Pelosi was easily outdone by republicans Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA), Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), Rep. Jefferson Shreve (R-IN) and Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) in 2025.
The fact of the matter is Cisco was not worth $82/share in 2000 and it's market cap is still down the better part of $200B since that peak in 2000 not even accounting for inflation. A P/E of nearly 35 now and revenues that are off the 2023 peak when you add in the $4B Splunk should have continued to bring in says this is a bubble again. Just pray Cisco doesn't lose 90% of it's value like it did when it went from $82 to $8.
Trump's America First politics.
Not saying this is the reason, but I'm thinking abou it
When the stock is rising, it's hard for shrholdres to sue for mismamagent becuz they didn't lose money.
ok. it was me. I called up the 1-800 DOW number and told them to hike the price.
@aa how many? x million shares? or 100s of peanut shares?
my guess is joos ..
@a7 I guess have something to gain since I own CSCO shares
It’s all AI hype machine
did Pelosi recently owned or stock-up on cisco stocks.. cr-p i am too late to the game.
@a6 could you guess who would manipulate? my guess, people that have something to gain.. then look/walk backwards who has most of the stocks... you will find your answers(ethical or not).
what makes you think it's being manipulated, and who do you think is doing the manipulating?
My guess, someone at higher ups can sell their stock just before May 13th?
