To Everyone at AT&T —
Let’s be real: the work you do doesn’t always get the credit it deserves. But when a first responder radios for backup, when a kid submits a college application from his phone because it’s the only device he has, when a family connects across the country on a holiday — that happens because of you. That’s not a small thing. That’s the whole thing.
AT&T has lasted this long because it keeps finding people who actually give a damn. You’re those people.
And you get to do it in Dallas — a city that, like this company, doesn’t apologize for its ambition. Great food, real people, a skyline that earns its keep. There’s a reason headquarters landed here.
The road ahead is real work. But so is the team beside you, and so is the investment this company is making in your future — not as a talking point, but as an actual commitment.
Now go make something happen today. Millions of people are counting on the connection only you can provide

omg. Are you 12?
We are meaningless! We are disposable. The company is the strategic decisions the leaders make.
'WE' did not rack up over $130,000,000,000 in debt. 'WE' are simply the ones they are using to pay it back.
Don't be stupid.
@ds Also you need to ask your "direct from Motorola" guy to look outside his bubble. What he has seen isn't the way it is all over. Or you could ask someone like me that works on it everyday, or stop making uninformed comments.
@ds Not where I live. Fiber from PSAP to tower 8-10 miles away. A tower and radio site that serves the whole county
@b5 direct from Motorola- it is wireless to the tower. This also makes senes because psaps all have radio towers at the psap with antennas in them. Thats not needed if its fiber to ever tower in the city or county the psap serves.
I dont know what part if the country you work in but i can assure you it is this way in the five states u serve.
Go fu-k yourself
@b3 You have no clue what you are talking about. I maintain the E911 call centers. The dispatch radio consoles are connected to the tower with our fiber circuits. I install them. I maintain them. Do we need to draw you a picture?
@az radio circuits are a very old legacy service that does not connect dispatch radios. Dispatch uses radio frequency to connect then uses cellular as a backup service in some cases.
Firstnet has zero to do with real public safety events. Ask most local FD, PD or EMT services and tgey will tell you the same.
@ah Dispatch is using radio consoles connected to the tower with AT&T fiber circuits.
The employees make the company great. Then c suite lays them off and gives themselves a bonus for doing a good job.
Repeat.
StankAI strikes again
So are stockholders and the stock declined again today. Under $25. Dallas won’t fix that!
When a first responder radios for backup, they are using Motorola radios. Firstnet is rarely used in first responder situations. Trust me, this is a fact.
I watch Netflix while in the office. Thanks AT&T
I want outta here.
Sounds like John Stankey asked chatgpt to write some bs about the greatness of att

"Have you ever attended a meeting in your bare feet?" You won’t anymore!
Did you guys figure out this board has more engagement than your own internal messaging? What doe that tell you? Hint: the answer is NOT that you should start posting your rah-rah propaganda here.
