Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

It's been over a month since the announcement, still no VDI tracking...

...or any information on how the requirements even work with VDIs. Does connecting to the VDI on a personal machine from USB wifi so we can use conference rooms count? Or only the thin-client through the Ethernet from the desk? Are we supposed to claim a desk when we're at the office even if we don't use it for tracking purposes? Who knows.

How is the world can we be held to these numbers when they won't even communicate to us how it works. This is basic leadership 101 stuff. Unprofessional and unethical.

Totally agree - no idea if I can sit anywhere but a desk though I’d like to sit in the open spaces as I used to before tracking occurred and my time didn’t count. What if I go work collaboratively with a person on another floor and my computer goes into screensaver mode? Here is an idea, ask the boots on the ground folks, bring them in and meet BEFORE you make these changes…people in hubs and remote from different pay grades, etc. Not just a retroactive survey. They have jobs that require them to be “on” 24/7 or in a penthouse office for meetings. Yet another example of the 1% running the world while we all play along accepting the “be grateful you have a job” mentality. They and many higher management could lose their jobs and be fine meanwhile if my kid needs their appendix out I’m f—cked. Read Animal Farm.
