So now EH is doing paid-for press to try to save this message? Please. Let's get a panel from the 1400 from the recent layoff and the thousands from all the previous layoffs on the Today show.
Pathetic. He's pathetic.

@fj+1kr93kk0p OP here. What is pathetic is our stock price. And oyr CEO crying on national television.
@OP pathetic post. You are pathetic.
@fb What perks were removed?
Comes in, removes company perks, says we have to "win now", and gallivants off to the olympics and talk shows. For someone who talks a big game about renewing the culture, he sure wants the company to feel like any old legacy corp. I'm not sure I trust the "vision"
Holy s h i t, he really did cry
And stock is down more
Maybe he should stay off TV and get to work
More fake tears.
EH on NBC: Lame.
@a9 what people do? I know finance and tech are in those same buckets. So… who is good at being CEO?
McDonald’s Comms in action, Michael this is not the right fit for you
Sales people never make good CEOs.
@a2 you’re absolutely correct. Current employees should just keep their heads down and collect that paycheck. Don’t bother to go above and beyond or try to elevate anything. Just do what’s needed for the job and close the laptop at end of the day knowing you did what you’re paid to do and that’s it.
Reposting: Nike is a for-profit company in a capitalist country, not a commune. If you lost your job, update your résumé and go find another one. nobody’s obligated to subsidize your life choices.
And if you still work here, maybe spend less time whining and more time doing the job you’re paid for. Otherwise, the door works both ways.
