What happens to your shares if you get laid off? Do they pay you or not?

My Docusign doc said incentive (I) shares get paid out at the value as of March 31, 2026 (if I did read it correctly)
My C shares weren't paid, it goes back to the company as per HR. THis is how they increase their balance sheet for the quarter
Manager here. That’s unclear. The language in the separation documents says to contact the shares team about payouts.
