People quitting every month. Almost no chance of moving up. Clear favoritism along ethnic lines. And the list goes on and on. And the sad thing is that I remember when this was a great place to work. When it earned the top spot on the best workplace lists. And that wasn't even that long ago.

California is no longer the Golden State, and the former "stars" of Silicon Valley are now tarnished, and falling out of the sky.
Greed, corruption, and self-serving, low-vibrational arrogance has shamelessly ruined what once held such shining promise of a bright future.

Yes, I miss the good ol' days when morale was high, raises were consistent and everyone got stock options. The company is far too big now and the culture differs vastly by organization, i.e., engineering vs. sales - two completely different teams.
Oh well. Fortunately I am one foot out the door already and the stock trajectory is padding my wealth. Cisco though is an enormous company with a multitude of organizations and culture. Some may hate it because of where they are at while others may have an entirely different experience. This is not unlike most large companies.

Basically the MacDonald's model - use branding and existing market presence to serve slop to undemanding customers
