Anyone getting those furlough requests for the summer months yet? I have not heard of any so far, which is strange considering the layoffs. I am on the west coast. The next time it happens, and it will, I swear I am applying for unemployment and taking off the time in weekly chunks rather than one day here and there like I usually do.

Got a furlough request this week in this quarter sometime.
With closings at locations, I'm betting intermittent furloughs in those places are a non worry. And I will assume that also will keep others from happening across the board since they will be saving so much money on layoffs and closings. Plus don't they still have to relocate equipment?
Inside source says no furloughs this time around, just workforce reductions instead. Specifically in the software engineering department. There’s a new AI rollout that’s recording everything on your screen slowly learning how to do everything without you.
