Any updates on this topic? Also, are there any hints about potential buyers?! saw the earnings - ADM performed quite well.

@fm agree with you… just want to finish already with this cr-p and move on to a fresh start…
@d1 OpenText didn’t build a platform. It bought a library and called it one. Furthermore, they didn’t write the books. They just own the shelves. And most of the software is on the give out table by the front door.
@bd totally in same page, while not in your BU I am in another non core 🙈 BU. The term is so demoralising it is unbelievable that smt in OT think it is acceptable, and the new CEO seem to love the term as well as it trips of his lips every time I have hear him speak publically. It is similar to someone calling your child ugly but cute.
@bd “Non-core” essentially means OpenText has no clear vision for how to operate and grow this business. From what I can see, the board and executive team have never really tried to understand what this business represents. They seem to understand “content management,” but not ADM.
I assume you are still new to ADM, but in my view, ADM has two realistic paths: either find its own blue ocean and redefine its market position, or be sold to a larger company like SAP, where it can serve a more specific enterprise domain.
Around 70% of ADM’s revenue still comes from classic products such as QTP, Quality Center, and LoadRunner. If ADM went all in on refining and modernizing these classic products, instead of chasing new branding and product names, there would still be real hope in the market, but the door is closing.
@bd completely agree about the names. No one wants a Thrust API on their Content Aviator for DAM Core Fax.
Yeah maybe soon maybe not hope that clarified your question
As an ADM employee, I felt a little insulted seeing my BU being called "non- core" in front of everyone while our numbers are actively growing.
Give us the names back and sales will go even higher. If you google "LoadRunner" the first result is Tricentus and the second is "OpenText Performance Engineering". The customers who want us can't even find us!
100% already sold - just waiting for the nod to announce.
had the same thinking after seeing the numbers. i have no track record in predicting things though - but, it would make sense to me
