Just trying to get ducks in a row. If anyone knows what the monthly premiums are, it would be appreciated.

@cp Healthcare has become exponentially less affordable since the affordable care act was passed.
@c9 surprisingly, there weren’t a lot of details, nothing I found would estimate the total, just would say I would pay it all + an admin fee. Not helpful.
After more searching, I finally did find a way to calculate. One can use last year’s W2 - box 12 DD lists total healthcare cost for the year (employee + employer). https://www.cobrainsurance.com/kb/cobra-cost-calculator/
a sh-t load but denatal and vision are good
I don't have personal experience but I understand that, in the United States, it can be estimated based on your W-2, presuming you were still an employee in CY25.
The other estimates posted so far seem surprisingly low to me, especially considering the company pays around 80% of health care premiums
• Form W-2 box 12, line DD (Cost of employer-sponsored health coverage)
• Multiply by 1.02 to account for administrative fees of 2%
Mine was around 700 for one person.
“Affordable care” eh?
Mine was 750 cobra, Obama care 800 they do it based off ur income total bs!
@OP Good God man, ever heard of ChatGPT? Also, you provide no details. It depends on what state you're in and a lot of other factors.
Typical 2025–2026 national averages are roughly:
Coverage Type
Average Monthly COBRA Cost
One person (single coverage)
about $750–$900/month
Two people (employee + spouse)
about $1,400–$1,900/month
Family coverage
about $2,000–$2,500+/month
