Severance packages vary by role, grade, and employment type. Contractors get nothing. Regular employees packages depend on their grade and tenure. Most people in product and technology will get 6 months of pay, pro-rated bonus, and their COBRA benefits will be subsidized while they’re receiving severance pay. Severance for junior associates will be much less.
