Gerresheimer Glass will close its Chicago Heights plant, terminating 172 employees. Graphic Packaging International laid off over 500 staff to achieve $60 million in cost savings. Oliver, TriMas, and Veritiv Visual are also closing plants, affecting dozens more workers.
