I was impacted from the last layoffs, never been on unemployment before, how do you file, do you file and add severance package and PTO or do you not include that info reading online you don’t have to add that info in. I know it would not kick in till the 2 month being on the payroll .

put in the request to chatGPT specifying what state you live in, and it should give you the full instructions.
You file the day after your last payday. Generally Nike keeps you on two months so you can’t file until you’re off payroll, but file the day after as it can take time. There will be a “waiting week” so you won’t be paid the first week but after you should get 26 weeks roughly, assuming you’ve worked the last 18 months in Oregon.
Nike will pay out all unused PTO and severance and it doesn’t count toward unemployment. They won’t ask really, no need to include it. You will be required to do an interview. Likely 2, and go to work source Oregon and do ID checks and get coached on job search. The Beaverton /aloah one near campus the nicest facility with the shortest wait time in my expience. Avoid the one on MLK.
Then you file every Sunday and get paid weekly and hopefully find a job before it runs out!
